THT staffer thrashed

A pre-press executive working at the Systems Department of The Himalayan Times was beaten up and robbed off his belongings by six hooligans this morning. Anuj Pokhrel was looted while he was on his way to his residence from office after his duty at about 3 am. The hooligans looted Rs 1,800, an ATM card, examination entrance card among others. They also grabbed his mobile (9841-232149). Pokhrel said he was thrashed at a galli in Ghattekulo after he refused to hand over his belongings. He received injuries on his nose and back.
