KATHMANDU, JUNE 27

The Tribhuvan International Airport has limited the number of individuals permitted to bid farewell or welcome passengers. Starting today, only three people will be allowed to accompany a traveler at a time.

According to the statement issued by the TIA, the surge in domestic and international flights has resulted in a significant influx of people at the terminals, causing difficulties in traffic management and an increased risk of accidents in the passenger drop-off area. Additionally, service delivery has been impacted due to the overwhelming number of individuals.

The TIA management has appealed to the public to cooperate in controlling the crowd and ensuring smooth operations within the terminals.
