KATHMANDU: A woman was severely injured after the attack of a tiger in the forest that belongs to Shuklaphanta Wildlife Reserve, in Kanchanpur.

The woman has been identified as Kalu Devi Khatri (52) of Dodhara-Chandani Municipality-4 of Kanchanpur district.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Khatri sustained critical injuries after the attack.

She has been taken to India for treatment.
