Representatives from different ministries on Tuesday stressed the need for coordination among the government bodies for effective implementation of the Tobacco Control Law.

Speaking at a programme on Inter-ministerial Meeting on Tobacco Control Law and its Implementation organised by the Resource Centre for Primary Health Care, Bishwamitra Kuikel, from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative, said there should be commitment among the parties concerned for controlling tobacco. “We should discourage tobacco cultivation,” he said.
