KATHMANDU: Police nabbed a man for stealing goods from different shops of Kathmandu, on Wednesday.

The arrestee has been identified as Sita Ram Timilsina (30) of Chaughada in Nuwakot district. Timilsina was found in possession of jeans pants, t-shirts and half pants that belonged to seven stores located at the Ranjana Trade Centre. The goods are worth around Rs 282,500, police said.

Police had reached the Samriddhi Cosmetic Shop in Kamalpokhari, owned by Timilsina, where he reportedly had stored the stolen goods, yesterday to confiscate them.

Further investigation is underway.
