Training for traffic police

Kathmandu, June 5:

The Educational Division of the SK Group, Fifth Dimension Private Ltd, is organising a two-day-long workshop on personality development for traffic police personnel in the country.

The workshop — the first of its kind in Nepal — that kicked off today aims to train traffic police personnel on body language and anger management, help them carry forward the acquired knowledge and confidence in their respective fields, make them understand human nature better and make them able to manage various types of personalities under tension and stress, according to Jagat Man Shrestha, the Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Valley Traffic Police Office.

“The basic understanding of how to control anger and read the non-verbal behaviour of people can open doors to better professional competence and satisfaction,” according to the SK Group.

“Conscious and unconscious posture and eye and face expressions will help the traffic police find out the truth from persons they are dealing with,” former Lieutenant and the resource person of the personality development workshop, Rita Gangwani, said.
