KATHMANDU: A cyclist died after being hit by a minitruck in Balaju of Kathmandu.

Prem Narayan Manandhar (67) of Gongabu was hit by an unidentified truck near the City Petrol Pump, in Balaju, KMC-16, on Wednesday.

He succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

Police said they are looking for the absconding driver and his four-wheeler.
