KATHMANDU: Talks between the struggle committee of the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) and the management on Wednesday ended inconclusively as the indefinite strike called by the former entered its 11th day.

The struggle committee is demanding the resignation of the dean of the Institute of Medicine Dr. Arun Sayami, a fair probe into the matter, official cancellation of the entrance examination of post graduation studies and a re-examination.

The struggle committee had closed all services including the emergency ward since yesterday i.e from Tuesday.

It is reported that the closure of the hospital affects around 1300 patients daily.
