KATHMANDU: Tsum Welfare Committee (TWC), a local NGO, is organising a four-day-long mobile heath camp and an awareness campaign in the remote northern part of Gorkha district.

The health camp is scheduled from November 27 to November 30 with lower Tsum Chumling and Chhekampar-6 as its venue, a press statement issued here by the TWC stated today.

The organisers said six doctors from Bir Hospital and Maternity Hospital would provide health check-up services to the local residents deprived of basic healthcare facilities for long.

The statement further added that due to the inaccessibility of the area, the local residents have been deprived of modern health facilities.

Also, the organisers have planned a publicity campaign in local language to spread the awareness on health issues.
