Two cases of property crime reported in Kathmandu
KATHMANDU: Police said at least two cases of property crime were reported from Kathmandu district on Friday.
Gold ornaments weighing around 3.5 tola, worth around Rs 280,000, were stolen from the rented room of Surasa Karki in Narephant, KMC-35.
The room was unattended during the incident, according to police.
In another case, a man was robbed of Rs 100,000 cash near a football ground in Kageshwori Manahara-13 of Kathmandu yesterday.
Bharat Kumar Rai (31) from Simpani-1 of Khotang was guarding his car (Ba 4 Cha 4468) after it stopped due to a technical glitch, while three motorcycle-borne persons targeted him, police said.
While looking for the suspects, police are investigating into both the cases.
