KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday said two persons died after falling off buildings in different places of the Kathmandu Valley.

According to police, a 36-year-old Ganga Shrestha of Ason, KMC-30 died after she fell from Naxal-based Engineer Development Office in Nagpokhari Marg, on Friday.

Shrestha fell unconscious and was rushed to a hospital. But, she breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, police added.

Similarly, 48-year-old Kumar Nagarkoti succumbed to injuries after he fell off from a window of his house at Suryabinayak Municipality-13. Nagarkoti, who sustained critical injuries, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Civil Service Hospital.
