KATHMANDU: Two persons have been arrested in possession of ornaments and valuables, which police said were stolen from a house in Teku.

Police said they seized gold ornaments weighing two tola, silver ornaments weighing eight tola, a camera, three watches and two mobile phone sets from their possession.

A patrol team apprehended Dinesh Kumar Thapa (35) and Ajaya Shahi (27) in Teku.

The valuables were stolen from Chandra Kumar Phuyal's residence, police said.

Thapa hails from Bara and Shahi from Kathmandu.
