KATHMANDU: A fire broke out at a two-storey house in Kusundo of Mahankal Rural Municipality-2  in Lalitpur district on Thursday.

The house belonging to Sano Man Gole engulfed in flames gutting property worth Rs 300,000 yesterday, said police.

In a separate incident, a fire broke out at Kshama Ganesh Body Builder Workshop at Libalipul in Bhaktapur Municipality-2 on Friday.

The workshop belonging to Birendra Suwal caught fire completely destroying the equipment worth around Rs 145,000 today, said police.

The fire was contained with the help of police and local residents..

It is yet to ascertain the causes of the fire, police said.

Meanwhile, the investigations into both cases are underway, said police.
