KATHMANDU: A Standing Committee meeting of the UCPN-Maoist has decided to hold discussions with all the political parties for national consensus to find a way out to the current political imbroglio.

Talking to mediapersons after the meeting, party General Secretary Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that the party had reached the conclusion that national consensus and national unity were essential to bail the country out of the current political standoff.

He said that his party would soon hold discussions with the CPN-UML and other parties for the same.

Mahara also said that discussions would soon be taken ahead to unite all the Maoist parties.
