KATHMANDU: The UCPN-Maoist has pledged to bear all the treatment cost of former Maoist combatant and journalist Prabina Gole, who is a chronic orthopedics and neurological patient.

The UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal today visited a hospital in Gwarko area where Gole is currently receiving treatment and appealed to the hospital administration to provide a special care for her.

During the meeting, Dahal persuaded Gole not to feel pressure of the treatment expenses and promised necessary arrangement to support her for the same, said Young Communist League (YCL) Kathmandu Valley Coordinator Ram Prasad Sapkota.

Gole lost her hand during a decade long Maoist insurgency and is suffering from bone-related and neurological ailment for long.
