Senior leaders of Madhesi Morcha leave for New Delhi

KATHMANDU: Two senior leaders of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) left Kathmandu for New Delhi of India on Sunday to exchange view on current political events and situtation in Nepal.

Chairman of the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal Upendra Yadav and Chairman of the Tarai-Madhes Democratic Party Mahantha Thakur had left for the Indian capital at 8 am today.

Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party Chairman Mahendra Ray Yadav and Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato had already left for New Delhi.

The four leaders of the Front are likely to hold talks with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Chair of Indian National Congress Sonia Gandhi, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and other leaders of the ruling and opposition parties.

They are likely to hold a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.
