Kathmandu, June 25:

A meeting of the United Left Front chaired by Nanda Kumar Prasain hailed the government’s decision to conduct constituent assembly election on November 22. Prasain was elected chairman of the ULF on Sunday despite CPN-ML’s opposition.

In a statement, Prasain called upon all the political parties, government and the Election Commission and the civil society to create an atmosphere conducive to CA polls. The UPF has also asked the government to address the issues raised by the Madhesis and janajatis.
