KATHMANDU: CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal called on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee at Hotel Hyatt Regency in Bouddha on Thursday.

According to a statement issued by Yadav Chandra Sharma, Secretary at the Foreign Affairs Department of the party, the duo discussed issues relating to mutual interests and bilateral relationships.

During the meeting, the Indian President invited former Prime Minister Nepal for India visit.

On the occasion, leader Nepal stressed on further strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
