UML politburo meet enters day 4
KATHMANDU: The politburo meeting of CPN-UML resumed for the fourth day to discuss the party policies, at the party headquarters in Balkhu, Kathmandu on Monday.
According to sources, the meeting will focus its discussion on party chairman Jhala Nath Khanal's 12-page political document, the state restructuring and administrative outline of the nation. The UML is not unanimous on the demands of the main opposition party UCPN-Maoist.
It has been reported that the meeting will discuss the party constitution, evaluation of the government, note of dissent of Bam Dev Gautam and the correction letter presented by KP Sharma Oli. The UML is divided into two sides with one headed by Oli and the other headed by Khanal.
