UML standing-committee meeting to be held on Wednesday

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML has called for a standing committee meeting on Wednesday.

Speaking to THT Online, UML Secretary Pradeep Kumar Gyawali said, "The meeting scheduled for 12:30 pm on Wednesday at central party office in Dhumbarahi will be focused on upcoming National Assembly elections."

The meeting will take decision on National Assembly candidates and official signatures for the nomination papers of the candidates.

Vice-chair Bamdev Gautam will chair the meeting in absence of party Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

Oli is currently in Bangkok, Thailand, for his health check-up and will return only on Thursday.
