KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 20
CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to host a tea reception on October 31 in celebration of the Bada Dashain, Tihar, Nepal Sambat, and Chhath festivals.
The tea reception will take place at the party's central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur, as confirmed by Gagan Bista, the chief of the UML Central Publicity and Publication Department.
Simultaneously, the UML has issued directives to its affiliated committees to conduct general conventions at the district and municipality levels by February 12, 2024.
This includes the district, local, and ward committee general conventions, as stated in a press release issued by UML Central Organization Department Secretary Madhav Dhungel.
A meeting chaired by party standing committee member and Department Chief Kashinath Adhikari has approved the party membership authentication report. According to the report, the memberships of 550,000 party members have been verified.
