KATHMANDU: United Nations Under Secretary-General for Political Affairs Jeffery D Feltman on Thursday arrived in Kathmandu for a three-day visit.

The UN political head is scheduled to call on President Bidya Bhandari, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, and Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa and consult the leaders of major political forces, including Madhes-based parties, about the latest political developments in the country.

Feltman is the senior-most UN official to visit Nepal after adoption of the new constitution.
