KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 18

The second shot of Vero Cell vaccine against COVID-19 is being administered from Monday.

District Health Office, Kathmandu, will administer the second dose of vaccine from 145 vaccination centres. The office has urged all the beneficiaries to get vaccinated at the designated centres.

Chief Public Health Administrator of the office Badri Bahadur Khadka said that as many as 32 vaccination centres had been designated in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, 10 in Kirtipur, 15 in Chandragiri, 10 in Nagarjun, 11 in Tarkeshwor, nine in Dakshinkali, 13 in Budhanilkantha, 11 in Tokha and nine each in Gokarneshwor, Shankarapur and Bageshwori Manahar.

Similarly, vaccination centres have also been set up at Nepal Police Hospital, Maharajgunj, Armed Police Force Hospital, Balambu, Bir Hospital, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Civil Service Hospital, Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital and Birendra Army Hospital.

The government had brought 4.4 million doses of Vero Cell vaccine from China yesterday.
