KATHMANDU: Veteran artist Manuj Babu Mishra is no more. The accomplished artist passed away due to heart attack, while in his sleep, at around 2:00 am on Wednesday.

Mishra was 83.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters and two sons.

Mishra's elder daughter Manju Mishra is a renowned name in the media sector while his elder son Rabindra Mishra is the coordinator of Bibeksheel Sajha Party.

His younger son is now in Europe and is expected to return tomorrow. Mishra's final rites will most likely take place after his return.
