Vice President Pun returns home
KATHMANDU: Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has returned home today after attending the 23rd China-Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair organized in China.
Vice President Pun was received at VVIP Lounge of TIA by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Speaker Onsari Gharti, Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Gopalman Shrestha, Home Minister Janardan Sharma, Minister for Labour and Employment, Pharmullah Mansoor, Chief of the constitution bodies, and of security bodies, high level government officials and chief/representatives of the diplomatic missions in Nepal.
During the China visit, the Vice President addressed a high level forum for development and cooperation on July 6, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, adding that he also held high level discussions with Chinese authorities.
He had left for China on July 4 along with his spouse Hastamali Pun, Secretary at his office, Narayan Gopal Malego and officials from Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Commerce.
