Vietnamese Ambassador pays courtesy call on PM

KATHMANDU: Non-residential Vietnamese Ambassador to Nepal Ton Sinh Thanh paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu on Monday.

In the meeting, the duo talked about bilatertal relationships and mutual interests between Vietnam and Nepal, according to a statement issued by the PM's Secretariat.

Mentioning that the two countries had friendly relations since long, PM Dahal expressed his pleasure that the relations between the two countries were becoming closer of late, the statement informed.

Likewise, the envoy, who looks after Nepal affairs from the New Delhi-based mission, was focused on taking the relationship between two countries to a new height by increasing high-level political meetings between the two countries.
