Weather to improve
KATHMANDU: Nepal received scanty rainfall across the country on Monday with change of weather due to the effect of westerly winds.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, Dadeldhura witnessed highest amount of rainfall at 25 millilitres, while Kathmandu Valley received three millilitres.
Likewise, the high mountainous and hilly areas also witnessed snowfall, the division said. Meteorologist Srijan Subedi said that the country witnessed rainfall across the nation with the change in weather, but the weather is gradually improving.
“Weather will improve from Monday evening in the central region and the eastern region will get improved weather from Tuesday,” he said.
The department said that the Valley on Monday recorded a minimum of 9 Celsius and a maximum 23.5 Celsius.
