KATHMANDU: Weather variation and rainfall will continue across the country with relatively active monsoon and prevalence of moisture laden wind from Bay of Bengal.

Meteorologist Subas Rimal shared that the moisture wind and development of low pressure zone in and around Uttarpradesh and Bihar states in India have caused changes in weather and rainfall in Nepal.

He informed that the central and eastern belts including Kathmandu Valley would witness weather variation and rainfall with the westerly cloud moving to the eastern part.

According to the Meteorological Division, there is also a possibility of strong wind in some parts of the country. Today, Kathmandu witnessed rainfall accompanied by hailstones.

The light drizzle will continue on Saturday and Sunday as well, Rimal informed.
