WHF to begin agitation

Kathmandu, June 3:

The Nepal National Committee of the World Hindu Federation today announced protest programmes beginning from Thursday to reinstate Nepal as a Hindu state.

“We would only accept the decision of people if over 50 per cent of them voted against Nepal being a Hindu state,” said Hem Bahadur Karki, president of International Committee of WHF addressing a press conference organised here today.

Bhola Nath Jha, president of Nepal National Committee of WHF said they wanted referendum to decide whether or not to make Nepal a secular state.
