KATHMANDU: A woman has been arrested on charge of killing her own husband in Mitrapark area of Kathmandu, police said.

The suspect, identified as Saraswati Tamang (41), allegedly stabbed Suman Tamang (42) with a kitchen knife following a domestic dispute in their rented house on Monday, inflicting life taking injuries on him, according to police.

Critically injured in the attack, the man was rushed to Chabahil-based Helping Hands Hospital where he breathed his last during the course of treatment.

Police said they have launched an investigation into the case.
