KATHMANDU: An elderly woman, whom police have rescued from a road in injured condition, died while undergoing treatment in Lalitpur on Monday.

The unidentified woman, who appeared to be in her mid-60s, was found lying on the road in Kandevatastan, Lalitpur-10.

Police had rescued and rushed her to the Patan Hospital, but to no avail.

Police are further investigating into the case.
