KATHMANDU: A 22-year-old woman has been arrested by a police on charge of stealing gadgets from an office recently.

Ranju Maharjan, a resident of Lainchaur, KMC-29, was arrested for her alleged involvement in a theft at the Innovative Creation Service Pvt. Ltd. In Bagbazaar.

According to police, she stole gadgets worth Rs. 576,040 from the company on Friday, July10, 2015.

A team of police deployed from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division had arrested her from New Road, Kathmandu Manucipality-22.

She was caught while selling the stolen goods at Pipalbot, New Road.

Police also recovered an mobile sets of iPhone, Samsung, Blackberry and Lava brands, branded cameras and a video game equipment from her.

The suspect was sent to the Metropolitan Police Range for necessary legal actions on Monday, September 7, 2015, police said.

Further investigation is underway.
