Kathmandu, June 16:

Police have found the body of Sita Basnet, 42, a resident of Kathmandu Metropolitan City ward number 3, in her rented room. Her body was found at around 2:30 am on Tuesday. Basnet originally hails from the Okhaldhunga district. Meanwhile, some unidentified persons looted property worth about Rs 100,000 from the shop of Laxmi Shrestha at Barahi in Bhaktapur Municipality-16 on Wednesday morning. The looters broke into her shop at around 3 am, police said.
