KATHMANDU: Women journalists congratulated President Bidya Devi Bhandari and wished her a successful term in President's Office, on Thursday.

Fifteen journalists led by the Working Women Journalists (WWJ)'s team reached the Sheetal Niwas and congratulated her.

The WWJ chair Shuvechhya Bindu Tuladhar briefed the President about their condition and their contribution to the development of journalism.

Similarly, Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) general manager Nirmala Acharya urged President Bhandari to appoint a woman journalist to the post of her press advisor.

On the occasion, President Bhandari stressed on studying mass communication and journalism for honing their skills.
