KATHMANDU: Two motorcycle-borne unidentified youth robbed a woman of Rs 600,000 from Gatthaghar of Bhaktapur district, on Friday.

Police said, the bag containing cash belonged to Mandira Adhikari Thapa of Panchkhal in Kavre district, currently residing at Balkumari Lati of Madyapur Thimi Municipality-13.

According to police, the victim was trapped by the robbers at an inner road section of Gatthaghar in Bhaktapur district.

She was riding a scooter (Ba 61 Pa 2273) when she was intercepted by the robbers.

Meanwhile, police said they are searching the absconding robbers and looking into the case.
