Won't let Sajha Prakashan die, says PM
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said he would not allow the Sajha Prakashan die. He said so while assuring the state-run publication house of addressing the problems it has been facing for years.
During his meeting with the Sajha delegation that had reached the Prime Minister's official residence, Baluwatar today, seeking the PM's support to 'Save Sajha Campaign', PM Dahal said he was clear enough that the organisation dedicated to the promotion of Nepali language and literature for a long should be protected under any circumstances.
On the occasion, Sajha Prakash Chairman and General Manager Dolindra Prasad Sharma called on the government to provide the crisis-stricken organisation with the financial support of Rs 400 million.
Former ministers and Sajha Board of Directors' members Pradeep Nepal and Dinanath Sharma, members Harihar Khanal and Jeevan Chandra Koirala were also in the delegation.
