Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli stated that work is progressing under the Mahakali Corridor to connect Lipulek and Limpiyadhura with road infrastructure.

In response to a query from legislator Binita Kathayat, he mentioned that the construction of a 43-kilometer road section from Darchula to Tusharpani is underway as part of the Brahmadev-Jhulaghat-Darchula-Tinker connectivity project.

Additionally, the Nepal Army is overseeing the construction of a 79-kilometer track from Tusharpani to Tinker Point, with approximately 12 kilometers already completed. The remaining work is expected to be finalized soon, he added.

The Prime Minister further emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing healthcare services in Karnali through the Karnali Academy of Health Sciences.

Responding to a question from Bimala Subedi, he reiterated the government's dedication to concluding the remaining tasks of the peace process by appointing office bearers to the Commission on Enforced Disappeared Persons and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

"The government recognizes the urgency of ensuring transitional justice," he stated, referring to the third amendment of the relevant acts.

Briefing the House, he informed that the process of engaging the private sector in the operation and management of the Bancharedanda Sanitary Landfill Site-located along the Nuwakot-Dhading border-has been initiated. He added that the project will be implemented at the local level under a public-private partnership model.
