KATHMANDU: A youth died after he fell into a gorge in Bhainsepati, Karyabinayak Municipality-4 of Lalitpur on Wednesday.

Pratik Bista (22) had slipped into the gorge while trying to enter a tunnel nearby the Bagmati River, police said.

The deceased has been identified as a permanent resident of Tokha, currently residing in Balkhu of the Capital.

Meanwhile, two youth Sudeep Shahi (22) and Sajan Tamang (22) were found consuming an illegal drug in the incident site.

Police said they were friends of the deceased.

Further investigation is underway.
