KATHMANDU: A youth succumbed to injuries he sustained in a minitruck accident in Lamatar of Lalitpur, on Monday.

The minitruck (Ba 4 Kha 8400) had skidded off an uphill road today.

Injured in the accident, Rakesh Amatya (30), a resident of Chagathali, Mahalaxmi-11 of Lalitpur, had breathed his last while being rushed to a hospital, police said.

Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt to nab the truck driver who is on the run since the accident.
