Nude presents The Himalayan Times TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022 in association with Carlsberg and Agni Group and coloured by Asian Paints is scheduled for September 22-24 at the Hyatt Regency Kathmandu.
Farmasi is the make-up partner of the event supported by FYMO and Hyatt Regency Kathmandu.
Join us as we delve into a world of choice fabrics and hues that not only pays homage to the woman in every one of us but also brings to focus the beauty and jubilance that lie in Mithila motifs.

ALL ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Our designs have been prepared for young ladies for special occasions such as wedding receptions, marriage ceremonies, and engagements, among others. Various lehengas in hues including yellow, red, peach, dark green, and lemon green will be on display. Additionally, some lehengas are backless.
They have been made of knit fabric and Korean silk. The lehengas have frills embroidered on them.
The total of 10 designs will be showcased at TGIF Nepal Fashion Week. Our designs are modest and modern and they are embellished with sequins, thread work, tassels, and feather patchwork. Diamond-cut necklaces and earrings have been used as accessories.
BEING A PART OF TGIF NEPAL FASHION WEEK 2022
Through this impressive platform, we get the chance to showcase our works of art. Being a part of TGIF Nepal Fashion Week is beneficial because publicity and recognition will help us advance as designers.
The self-confidence will increase as well as experience for future design showcases.

ALL ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Our designs are inspired from the Madhesh culture and festivals. We will display formal wear including saris, kurtas, and full printed shawls. There will also be displays of casual dresses like jumpsuits and Dhaka coats. Our collection is hand embroidered with Mithila art motifs such as elephant, peacock, fish, turtle, and Madhesh women wearing sari, among others The use of a wide range of vivid colours including blue, yellow, green, and red among others, gives the designs a rich feel. While our casual wear has been made of linen, our formal wear has used silk and cotton.
The use of accessories including watches, oxidised silver jewellery, and ladies bags with Mithila prints enhances the overall look of our clothes. A total of 20 designs will be showcased at the TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022.
BEING A PART OF TGIF NEPAL FASHION WEEK 2022
It provides a good platform to showcase our designs. But basically, I want to use our designs to support the Madhesh culture. The fashion show hosts a variety of cultural representations, but in my opinion this is the first time the Madhesh culture will be represented.
I am grateful to TGIF Nepal Fashion Week and will try to give the audiences a unique experience via our Mithila art inspired designs.
