Attractive festive offers on two-wheelers

KATHMANDU: As the festive season is around, two-wheeler dealers have come up with Dashain and Tihar offers and schemes to allure the customers. According to dealers, the festive season is the high reason for sales as most people wait for festive offers to make a purchase. Currently, the majority of two-wheeler in the domestic market are offering sure-shot cash discounts and bumper prizes. The entire festive offer is valid until mid-November.

“We have introduced ‘Suzuki Dhoom’ offer — under this scheme consumer can get a chance to win a Suzuki Gixxer SF Moto GP through a lucky draw every month,” said Samit Singh, Marketing Manager of VG Automobiles Pvt Ltd, adding that a sure-shot cash discount of Rs 7,000 to Rs 100,000 is also available in the offer.

According to him, they have introduced this scheme to spread the joy during the festive season among consumers. “We plan to sell around 4,000 units during this festive season,” informed Singh.

“During the festival period we have witnessed sales increment by almost two folds as compared to the normal period,” said Deepak Rauniyar, AGM-Sales and Business Development, MAW Enterprises, authorised distributor of Yamaha. “Our sales target is to sell around 15,000 units and hopefully we will achieve it by the end of Tihar,” he added. The company have come up with their offer of a ‘Techno Trip to Tokyo’ — an opportunity to visit Yamaha Communication Centre. The winner will be selected through a lucky draw on a weekly basis. “The main motive of this festive offer is to provide an opportunity to our customer to see and analyse the latest technology that Yamaha has been adopting for years,” informed Rauniyar. Also one can enjoy a cash discount of Rs 8,000 on the purchase of every Yamaha bike and scooter.

“We always try to introduce new offers for our customers and this festive season we have come up with ‘Jaun Hero Liu, Sun Chandi Paisa Pau’ offer,” said Dinesh Ratna Bajracharya, Senior Manager of Sales, NGM Hero, authorised distributor of Hero. Under this scheme, customers can get a Rs 6,000 discount on the purchase of motorcycles and Rs 8,000 discount on the purchase of scooters and many attractive gift hampers. One lucky winner will get a chance to win a bumper prize of Rs 100,000 every week. According to Bajracharya, they have set sales target of 13,000 units.

“The festive season always creates excitement among customers. This year we have introduced ‘TVS Tatyo Bazaar Instant 10,000’ offer,” said Alok Josee, General Manager of Sales, Jagdamba Motors, authorised distributor of TVS. Under this scheme, buyers can save up to Rs 10,000. On the purchase of RTR 160/180 motorcycles, buyers can get a cash discount of Rs 7,000 and on the purchase of other bikes and scooters one can get a cash discount of Rs 10,000. “With this festive scheme we are optimistic to achieve our sales target of 7,500 units by mid-November. Till now we have received positive inquiries and feedback from customers,” informed Josee.
