The history

The Nepal Fashion Week was organised in 2004 by IEC and Sunsilk — it continued till 2006.  In 2007, it was organised under the name of Lakme Nepal Fashion Week. The event drastically altered the Nepal’s fashion industry; it was a show like no other before and people got the taste of real high fashion. It started off as a five-day event where creations of up to 50 groups of designers were showcased by 20 Nepali and Indian models.  In 2010, it became a four-day affair featuring up to 10 sequences of designers each day.
