Current wheels and what do you like about it?

I drive a Range Rover Vogue, as it’s the vehicle that Mega Bank provides for me. The best thing I like about it is the space and comfort.

Any place in the world that you wish to go for a drive?

I’ve heard a lot about the German Autobahn, but have never driven on it. So I would like to take a high performance German vehicle for a spin one day. Other than that I would really like to take a Recreational Vehicle (RV), with bed to bathroom and everything else in it, and drive through New Zealand stopping wherever the day ends and enjoying the beauty of what I hear is a pristine nation.

Travel

What’s your favourite vacation destination abroad? What is it that you love about the place?

The sun, sand and sea makes for a perfect combination for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. And from all the beach destinations I have been to, Maldives is the most perfect. The tranquil clear blue waters with an abundance of sea life to observe while peacefully snorkelling makes it a true paradise in every sense.

Your fantasy travel itinerary: My fantasy travel itinerary outside Nepal would include hopping to a series of islands in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and ending up in the Maldives for a grand finale.

Favourite getaway destination in Nepal and why?

My favorite getaway destination in Nepal is Pokhara. The bohemian tranquility of walking in the Lakeside itself is enough to relieve me of any stress I may have. Add to this the natural beauty of the majestic Fishtail and Annapurna range looming over you, and reflecting on the tranquil waters of Phewa Lake.

Gadgets

Gadgets you own… My gadgets are mostly centered around photographic equipment from cameras to lenses. When new phones and tablets get released I do stop and take note.

Your favourite gadget?

Right now my favourite ‘gadget’ if you can call it that is my iPhone 6, and it really has everything I need. From my appointments, to reminders, to emails, to Facebook and twitter, to games and pictures.

A gadget on your wish list?

The Apple Watch is in my radar right now. If anything could make my iPhone more complete it is this little gadget.

Food

Your favourite cuisine and why?

My favourite food is Nepali food! Kalo dal, bhat, khasi ko letho masu, poleko golbheda ko achaar, aalu taama or gundruk mashura… And if I’m really feeling adventurous then a big spoon full of jhane ko ghiu on top of the rice along with a juai (fried) anda! Nothing will delight me more than being served this meal in a khande thaal with the freedom to roll up my sleeves and devour it with my hands!

Your favourite restaurant?

While I may love Nepali food, I love eating it cooked at home, so for me currently the favourite restaurant is Koto in Durbar Marg. Mainly because their consistently delicious Japanese food is always complimented by their helpful and friendly staff.
