KATHMANDU: Gionee recently launched its much awaited — Marathon M5 lite in the Nepali market. The handset is the latest addition to its big-battery Marathon series. It boasts a 5-inch HD screen in a full metallic, ultra-slim unibody. The phone has an 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It possesses 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. The smartphone is powered by a 4000 mAh battery, which is twice the capacity of average phone batteries. As for OS, the M5 lite runs on Amigo 3.1, Gionee’s own software based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is also able to charge two other devices

simultaneously. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone is priced at Rs 19,999. Gionee is also conducting a silver coin offer whereby customers will receive a free silver coin on the purchase of M5 lite from February 11 to 17.
