Literature Festival draws writers, readers to Pokhara
POKHARA: Well-known writers and literature enthusiasts from across the nation have gathered in Pokhara for the fifth Nepal Literature Festival.
Amid a function in Nepal's tourism capital, a 91-year-old former British Army man JP Cross, who now has the Nepali citizenship, inaugurated the four-day function today.
The Festival, organised by Bookworm Foundation, includes as many as 31 panel discussions, poetry recitations and some book launches.
According to the organiser, panel discussions focus on a variety of topics including language and literature, arts and films, society and culture and politics and governance.
The panelists too are from varied backgrounds including litterateurs, readers, politicians, cine artists and journalists.
The festival would conclude on Monday.
