Nepal Academy to hold Poetry Festival on March 27
KATHMANDU: Nepal Academy (NA) is scheduled to organise the National Poetry Festival in the Capital on March 27.
The festival that was first slated for June 24 to coincide with the NA anniversary was put off four times due to various reasons including the April 25 earthquake, the unofficial Indian border blockade and demise of former Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.
Shashi Lumumbu of the NA said that out of the total 31 poets selected from across the country, the five best will be picked up for the award.
