KATHMANDU, MAY 18
Sashank Shahi has been crowned Manhunt International Nepal 2026 at the grand finale of the 15th edition of the national male pageant, held in Kathmandu.
Shahi also secured the 'Mr Personality' title, while Prasanna Rai was named Mister Model International Nepal 2026 and won additional awards including 'Mr Etiquette' and 'Mr Public Choice'. Siddhartha Sanjyal clinched the Mister Cosmopolitan Nepal 2026 title, and Chanchal Shahi Thakuri was crowned Mister Eco International Nepal 2026 along with 'Most Stylish' and 'Mr Physique' titles.
Other award winners included Bijay Bikram Thapa (Mr Popular and Mr Photogenic), Pranav Kattel (Manhunt Male Supermodel), Gagan Rokaya (Mr Friendship), and Diwas Magar (Mr Talent). The winners will represent Nepal in various international competitions.
The event was choreographed and directed by Anup Saxena, while Rojin Shakya mentored contestants on stage presentation and communication. The competition featured multiple rounds, including introduction, Top 10 and Top 5 segments assessing communication skills, personality and overall performance.
A panel of judges comprising Dilip Nepali, Abhinav Thapa, Sameer Mani Dixit, Romi Aryal, Evana Manandhar and Rachana Gurung Sharma evaluated the contestants, with Prashant Tamrakar serving as chief judge.
Organised by the Group of Event Entertainers in association with Ultima Lifestyle and powered by Image Channel HD, the event was held at Alice Reception, Gairidhara. The organisers said the platform aims to promote Nepal's male fashion, modelling and personality development sector while providing opportunities for international exposure.
