TGIF Nepal Fashion Week - for some it's a platform to showcase their designing talent, for others a place to get recognition for their work and introduce themselves to the world of fashion. Promising to bring forth a range of designs - for men and women - via the fashion gala of this year, designers are all set for it.
Nude presents The Himalayan Times TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2022 in association with Carlsberg and Agni Group and coloured by Asian Paints is scheduled for September 22-24 at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu.
Farmasi is the make-up partner of the event supported by FYMO and Hyatt Regency Kathmandu.

Men's clothing with vibrant colours including green, maroon, black, orange, and various pastel tints dominate our designs.
For the men, we have mostly concentrated on formal business attire, with occasional special event attire. The show will feature kurta, pyjama, daura, suruwal, pants, sherwanis, and several types of suits, including bandhgala, corporate, and tuxedos, among others. Fabrics including cotton, velvet, wool, and polywool are used to make the clothes.

By participating in the TGIF Nepal Fashion Week in 2022, we will showcase our brand and the effort we put in. It is a fantastic platform for us to display our talent.
And it's a great blessing for us to be a part of it. Since this is the platform where art and design have received recognition and acclaim, we will use it to demonstrate our creativity and skill.
Glitter and glam

Since the meaning of celestial is supremely good, our design is all about glitter and glam as the collection is bright and shiny and inspired by stars. The fashion presentation will include our evening gowns. Our style is based on ethical bridal attire, such as anarkalis gowns with a touch of western flair. The majority of our collection is themed for parties, celebrations, and engagement. Fabrics like knit and georgette are utilised with hand embroidery as a embellishments. A total of 10 designs will be showcased.

I'm taking part in TGIF Nepal Fashion Week because I don't want to lose the chance to be a part of such a big event. I had a great time taking part in its previous edition, and the show's guests were complimentary of my presentation. Since we and our designs received praise, I am emotionally attached to the show and it has a special place in my heart.

My collection consists of lehengas, saris, and gowns in a variety of colours, including red, sky blue, pink, and white. At TGIF Nepal Fashion Week, a total of 20 designs will be displayed. Our collections are handmade. The textiles utilised include knit, silk, and chiffon. Our designs are mostly aimed at reception, wedding, and engagement looks. The usage of accessories like necklaces and earrings, enhances the aesthetic of our assortment.

I had applied to participate in the last edition of TGIF Nepal Fashion Week and was accepted, but for some reason I was unable to attend the fashion show, therefore my dream of attending the TGIF Fashion week was left unfulfilled. Thus, I am actively striving to present my collection in order to fulfil my dream of participating in the TGIF Nepal Fashion Week.
I am from Jhapa and am recognised as an Eastern designer, but my goal is to be known as the designer of Nepal. Thus, TGIF is a platform that can help me become well-known.
Colourful and unique

I will present my sari designs at TGIF Nepal Fashion Week. My designs are inspired by nature as there are floral and blooms such as roses, peonies, orchids, and sunflowers among others with a range of other motifs like butterflies and leopards printed on the saris. Every sari is individually digitally printed by me with a floral design. Every design I create is different and will never be produced again. I will showcase 10 different types of pure silk saris.
The saris are in pure silk, chiffon and charmeuse. My patterns are incredibly colourful and have unique prints, making them maximalist in look. The hues utilised include pink, green, red, blue and yellow, among others.

It is a nationwide platform that attracts viewers from all around the country. It's a fantastic chance for me to gain recognition. My designs are mostly targeted at those who love saris.
