The club sandwich is layered with cheese, ham, chicken, sausage, egg, mushroom, carrot, cabbage and mayonnaise. The dish is served with crispy fries.
Pragati’s Verdict
The club sandwich could be better if it was stuffed with lesser proportion of ingredients. The plating and the decoration is fine.
Chicken leg and breast piece served with brown sauce, mushroom and seasoned with herbs.
Pragati’s Verdict
It is said that you first eat with your eyes. The presentation of the dish is beautiful and mouth watering. The brown sauce is creamy and tastes good as well.
Served with continental spices and mustard paste along with garlic, onion and some fragrant herbs.
Pragati’s Verdict
Usually the fish tends to be overcooked but the chef has cooked the fish in the right temperature. However, the sauce has not done full justice to the dish.
With continental sauce poured on the chicken breast, it looks and tastes scrumptious.
Pragati’s Verdict
I really like the outer crunchy coverings; however the inside of the chicken is not as juicy as it was supposed to be.
The traditional khaja set contained daal fry, rice, mixed vegetable curry, leg gravy, curd, saag and pickle
Pragati’s Verdict
The entire khaja set was regular in taste. The presentation was pleasant and daal fry was rich and delicious. The leg gravy is another chicken delight that was mixed with spices and cooked in mustard oil. I like eating spicy food and the chicken did match up with my taste buds!
Overall Verdict:
The lights and lanterns give a modern Chinese feel, peaceful and vibrant aura. I was impressed by the crispy chicken and the unique ingredients used in the sauce, it was rich and soupy. It is a nice place to hang out and have chit chat with friends in the winters as the warm sunlight enters the café. I am grateful that the restaurant managed to make so many exotic dishes even at the time of such crisis. The service was also satisfactory and overall I had a good time at Summerhouse.
