Kathmandu, January 16

A health worker is seen through a door inside the intensive care unit of COVID-19 isolation ward at Teku-based Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital (STIDH), in Kathmandu, on Saturday.

The ward currently has 11 COVID-19 patients under treatment.

Dr Anup Bastola, team leader at the hospital says, “People are struggling hard for their lives and the choice is ours to make. Either we be mindful of our actions or get victimized.”

The role of health workers has remained crucial from the very beginning in fighting the pandemic.
